Although we’re more than happy to be the featured download at Apple’s Audio Section, the heavy load brought our cute, little web server to its knees several times earlier this week.

Sorry if you had trouble downloading Übercaster and/or ShowMacster during the last few days!

We’ve set up a second download server for Übercaster (with automatic load balancing), this will hopefully take some load from the main server. We also try to optimize some server settings in our Apache configuration (fingers crossed, that we don’t mess up the whole server config :))

Today we release Übercaster v1.5.5.

The update is available here or through Übercaster’s automatic update check (users of Übercaster v1.5.0, please read the the note below!).

This release mainly fixes an annoying bug on the release layer. See Übercaster’s revision history for a full list of changes.

On last time: For those of you still working with v1.5.0 (aka v1.5): The automatic update feature is broken in v1.5.0! Please download and install the new version manually. This update is strongly recommended for all users of Übercaster v1.5.0!
